Liam Neeson, recently seen in the new Taken 3 images (which were released online, and available to view here), appears to have enjoyed with with Seth MacFarlane so much (having played the villain in Seth’s A Million Ways To Die In The West) that Seth has confirmed (via Twitter) he’s now set to star in the director’s upcoming comedy sequel Ted 2.
With MacFarlane himself writing, directing, and providing the voice and motion-capture performance for the crude talking teddy bear once more, there’s still surprisingly little known about Ted’s second outing, including the identity of Neeson’s new character. We do however know that newcomer Morgan Freeman (The Dark Knight Rises) will be starring in the film as a lawyer (suggesting Ted may find himself in a spot of legal trouble this time round).
While Mila Kunis will not be returning, Mark Wahlberg, Patrick Warburton, and Jessica Barth all all coming back for Ted 2, and will be joined by Amanda Seyfried (A Million Ways To Die In The West), and Richard Schiff (Man of Steel) when it’s released on June 25th 2015 in the US, before making its official UK release date on July 10th 2015.
