Crashing online this evening, the latest trailer for Mad Max: Fury Road; the fourth film in the Mad Max saga, once again coming from the brain of Max creator, writer, and director George Miller; has excited action fans the world over thanks to it’s visual flair, and love of utter carnage, as seen in the brand new trailer below.
Starring Tom Hardy (The Drop) as Max (the iconic role which made Mel Gibson a star), Fury Road will see the legendary Road Warrior and anti-hero still trapped in a post-apocalyptic, Australian-desert, wasteland and leading a solitary existence before he’s forced to join with an action-led woman named Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron, A Million Ways to Die In The West); who’s attempting to lead her crew across the desert, in spite of the actions of the villainous Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne, the man who played Toecutter in the first Mad Max).
With Nicholas Hoult (X-Men: Days of Future Past), Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (Transformers: Dark of the Moon), Riley Keough (Magic Mike), and Zoë Kravitz (X-Men: First Class) co-starring in the action film which Miller describes as “one long chase sequence”, Mad Max: Fury Road is due to be released on May 15th in both the US and UK.
