It’s three-for-three as Thunderbirds 1965 has passed it’s £195,000 final stretch goal, which means fans of the original 60’s Supermarionation puppet children’s TV programme will now get three new episodes of Thunderbirds next year!
With over 50 hours left to go, it wasn’t really in too much doubt for Stephen La Rivière and his team from Filmed In Supermarionation, but as time ticks down, there is no need to call in International Rescue or any of the Tracy boys as the goal was reached and three new original puppets & models based episodes will be made. The Kickstarter itself now boasts being the ‘All-Time Most Successful Kickstarter Film Project In The UK’.
Fans of the original secret rescue team organisation can now look forward to three episodes based on 1960’s Thunderbirds audio recording stories of The Abominable Snowman, a prequel to how Lady Penelope & Parker got involved with the Tracey family and The Stately Home Robberies.
Utterly F.A.B.!
