Below you’ll find the first official trailer for Marco Polo Season 2 – the upcoming second season of Netflix’s historical action/drama, which is due to hit the streaming service on July 1st.
Continuing from the events of season one, we will see Marco Polo (Lorenzo Richelmy) being fully embraced by the Mongol ruler Kublai Khan (Benedict Wong), and his acceptance irking a number of the Khan’s loyal followers; people who do not approve of a foreigner being accepted into the Order of the Mongol Knights.
There will also be newer and larger threats to the throne and Mongol empire, people vying for the Khan’s life, and Michelle Yeoh (recently named in our list of top ten stunt men) arriving as a mysterious warrior, alongside returning cast members Tom Wu, Joan Chen, Zhu Zhu, Olivia Cheng and Claudia Kim, when Marco Polo Season 2 premiers globally on July 1st.
