Looking about as soppy as a film can possibly look (not a bad thing considering Valentine’s Day is just around the corner), we now have the first official trailer for Me Before You available to view below.
Adapted from Jojo Mayes’ novel of the same name, and directed by relative unknown Thea Sharrock, Me Before You stars Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) as a small-town girl who takes a job caring for a recently paralysed, though exceptionally good-looking, warm-hearted and wealthy, man (played by Love, Rosie‘s Sam Claflin), and begins to fall in love with him.
Can she bring the once joyous and adventurous man out of the cynical shell his recent accident put him in? Can he give her all the adventure, direction, and romance every small-town girl clearly craves? Yes. Well, more than likely anyway.
To find out for sure you can always buy the book, or wait to see if Emilia and Sam hit it off, in the film which co-stars Charles Dances (Game of Thrones), Jenna Coleman (Doctor Who), and Matthew Lewis (Harry Potter), when Me Before You is released on June 3rd in both the US and UK.
