Despite script issues, production delays, and a number of other issues surrounding J and K’s third outing, Men In Black 3 will definitely be hitting cinemas next year, and has recently had its first round of teaser posters released online (now available to view below).
Differing from the usual shots of Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones (who play the intergalactic immigration officers J and K respectively), the latest poster features the agents in a whole new way (using a kind of magic eye trick), and marks the star of an advertising campaign which also incorporates the address to a viral marketing campaign for the latest MIB sequel.
Men In Black 3 will see J traveling back in time to 1969 (making a moon-landing plot point highly likely) in order to save a young K (who’ll be played by No Country For Old Men’s Josh Brolin), from an upcoming disaster which is threatening to destroy the planet (again), and a decidedly mean alien played by Jermaine Clement (Despicable Me), in the film that will co-star Emma Thompson (Love Actually), Alice Eve (She’s Out of My League), and Rip Torn (returning as Agent Z), and is due to be released on May 25th 2012 in both the US and UK.
