Choosing to release the brand new poster and TV spot for the upcoming Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation via twitter, Paramount have given us the first official image, and footage (not to mention an official title) for the fifth film in the franchise, and you can now see the official Mission Impossible 5 trailer below.
Once more starring Tom Cruise as super-spy Ethan Hunt, Simon Pegg as gadget man Benji, and Jeremy Renner returning from Ghost Protocol as Hunt’s right hand man, Rogue Nation sees the band targeting a highly connected syndicate of bad guys who are, in Benji’s own words, “the anti-IMF” – meaning M:I5 is essentially the evil-twin episode of the M:I soap-opera.
Directed by Christopher McQuarrie (who previously directed Cruise in Jack Reacher, and scripted Edge of Tomorrow), Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation co-stars Alec Baldwin (The Departed), Sean Harris (Prometheus), a returning Ving Rhames, and Rebecca Ferguson (Hercules), and is due to be released on Jul 31st in both the US and UK.
