We’ve already seen a trailer, some images, and a handful of poster, but another new trailer for Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol (the upcoming fourth film in the mission: Impossible franchise) has recently been released online, and is now available to view below.
Once again placing tom cruise as super-spy Ethan Hunt, Ghost Protocol will see Hunt and the rest of the IMF framed for attempting to instigate global nuclear war (by subtly blowing up the Kremlin); forcing him and the rest of his team (which as well as returning stars Simon Pegg and Ving Rhames, now also includes The Town’s Jeremy Renner, and Deja Vu’s Paula Patton) to go deep undercover in an effort to clear their names, and catch the real culprits.
Tom Wilkinson (Batman Begins) and Josh Holloway (Lost) round out the cast of Ghost Protocol, which, according to the official synopsis is “grittier and more intense” than any previous mission, and is due to be released in the US on December 16th, before making its UK release date on December 26th (Boxing Day).
