Coming from director Jodie Foster (The Beaver), upcoming crime/thriller Money Monster has a brand new poster available to view on the right (click to view full size).
Starring George Clooney (Hail, Caesar!) as the host of a financial TV show, who ends up getting taken hostage, and forced to wear an explosive vest on live TV, when a blue-collar worker storms the studio and threatens to blow up the building as leverage to increase the value in a certain stock – thereby exposing corruption within the stock market, and finding answers behind large losses he was a part of.
Jack O’Connell (Unbroken) stars as the terrorist, whilst Julia Roberts (Eat Pray Love) is on hand as the show’s executive producer (sitting mere feet away from the terrorist and her host, while the rest of the building’s occupants evacuate), and Dominic West (The Wire) picks up the part of a company CEO who attempts to hide from the ensuing chaos and investigation behind his company’s stock holdings.
Money Monster will be released on May 13th in the US, before making its official UK released ate on May 27th.
