Based on a true story, and following a troupe of soldiers who attempted to retrieve stolen art from the Nazi’s during World War II, The Monuments Men looks to carry a serious message behind some light hearted camaraderie, and although its had its release date pushed back to a post-Oscar season February slot, has just received a new trailer; which can now be seen below.
Starring George Clooney (Ocean’s Eleven), Matt Damon (The Bourne Identity), Bill Murray (Groundhog Day), John Goodman (Monsters University), and Cate Blanchett (Robin Hood), The Monuments Men has been adapted from Robert Edsel’s book of the same name, directed by Clooney himself, and is now due to be released on February 7th in the US, and on February 14th (otherwise known as Valentine’s Day) in the UK.
