Based on the book series The Mortdecai Trilogy (specifically Kyril Bonfiglioli’s novel Don’t Point That Thing At Me), the latest Johnny Depp (Pirates of the Caribbean) comedy is only a couple of weeks away from nationwide release, and as such you can you see the latest trailer for the film below.
Depp headlines Mortdecai as the film as debonair art-dealer and part-time rogue Charlie Mortdecai, a British rapscallion who, armed with nothing but his good looks and charm, must traverse the globe in an effort to recover a stolen painting rumoured to contain the code to a lost bank account filled with Nazi gold.
Co-starring Gwyneth Paltrow (Iron Man), Olivia Munn (Magic Mike), Ewan McGregor (Trainspotting), Paul Bettany (Transcendence), and Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic Park), the David Koepp (Premium Rush), directed movie is due to be released on January 23rd in both the US and UK.
