He’s up for an Oscar for his superb acting in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, soon to be seen in Christopher Nolan’s final Batman movie (The Dark Knight Rises), and has just added another upcoming project to his ever growing schedule; which means we’ll be seeing Gary Oldman in the upcoming action/thriller Motor City.
Coming from The Book of Eli’s co-director (Albert Hughes), Motor City will see Dominic Cooper (The Devil’s Double) playing the part of a small time criminal who gets sent to prison (for something he didn’t do), only to be released a year later and vow to not only get back with the woman he loves (Amber Heard, Drive Angry), but get revenge on the people who framed him.
Oldman (who worked with Hughes on Eli) will be propping up the cast as a manipulative kingpin who’s got his hands on Heard during Cooper’s incarceration, in the film which has been scripted by newcomer Chad St John, and is due to begin filming this coming April.
