Beloved by the people, Princess Diana, ex-wife of Prince Charles, patron of numerous charities, and mother of Princes William and Harry, will be forever remembered for her controversial and tragic end, and will soon be immortalised in an upcoming film; in which she will be portrayed by Naomi Watts.
Best known for her part in The Ring, Watts will be playing the part of the People’s Princess (once slated to go to The Help‘s Jessica Chastain) in the film which is due to be directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel (Downfall), will be called Caught In Flight, focus mainly on the last two years of the Princess’ life, and will now see a woman who, despite being eight years older than Diana was at the time, bears a strong resemblance to the former Princess of Wales playing her in the film which is yet to announce an official release date.
