Since playing Anne Boleyn in The Tudors Natalie Dormer has since become best konwn for her role as Margaery Tyrell on HBO’s Game Of Thrones, and having seen her career skyrocket as a result of her time in Westeros she’s not only playing a key role in the upcoming Hunger Games sequel (Mockingjay – Part 1), but is now set to star in the upcoming global thriller Patient Zero.
Set during a global pandemic which triggers the evolution of an entirely new species, Natalie will be taking on the lead role in Patient Zero; playing a human survivor battling the rabid infected humans (who turn into raging predators with their own new language, and a penchant for violence), and searching for the origins of the pandemic, in hopes of finding a cure.
Due to be directed by Stefan Ruzowitzky (Deadfall), from a script by Mike Le (Dark Summer), Patient Zero is being developed by Screen Gems (and is currently sounding like a Resident Evil/World War Z type movie), but doesn’t have an official start date, or release date, at this time.
