It’s due to be one of the biggest crossovers in movie history, brining together a great cast of leading actors from a number of different movies, and is promised to be bigger and better than anything we’ve seen from the Marvel universe to date, and in order to keep fans happy, and casual viewers interested, two new banners have just been released online in order to promote The Avengers (both of which are partially available to view below, and can be enlarged and viewed in full by clicking).
Starring Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Chris Evans (Captain America), Scarlett Johansson (Iron Man 2) as Black Widow, Jeremy Renner (Thor) as Hawkeye, Mark Ruffalo (Shutter Island) as Bruce Banner/The Incredible Hulk, Samuel L. Jackson (Iron Man) as Nick Fury, and Clark Gregg (Iron Man) as Agent Phil Coulson, The Avengers will see the heroes from each of the Marvel stand-alone movies come together to protect our world from Thor’s brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston, Thor), in the Joss Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) directed film which is due to be scored by Alan Silvestri (Back to the Future).
Gwyneth Paltrow (Iron Man), and Stellan Skarsgard (Thor), will also be appearing, alongside the voices of Lou Ferringo (The Incredible Hulk) and Paul Bettany (Iron Man’s Jarvis), in the film which is a must-see for any comic-book fan, and due to be released on April 27th in the UK, before making its US release on May 4th.
