Below you’ll find the latest trailer for Blood Father; putting Mad Max‘s Mel Gibson back in action-hero territory, as a surly ex-con who’s forced to go on something of a rampage when his daughter (Erin Moriarty, Jessica Jones) shows up asking for help, after her boyfriend (Diego Luna, Milk) lures her into committing a crime.
Co-starring William H. Macy (Fargo), Michael Parks (Django Unchained), and Dale Dickey (Hell or High Water), and directed by Jean-François Richet (the man behind the brilliant French crime thriller/biopic Mesrine) Blood Father marks Gibson’s first major leading role since How I Spent My Summer Vacation (in 2012), and is due to be released in the UK on October 8 (having been delayed from the originally scheduled August 25 release).
