Many film fans may think that they’ve already seen Tron: Legacy in its entirety, as Disney seem to be churning out new trailers, promotional clips, posters, and music videos, almost as fast Tron enthusiasts can blink, but the new trailer (which can be seen below) shows that simply isn’t true, and gives the fans a host of new action clips, and character moments to enjoy.
Featuring more clips of the Light Jets, and a better look at the films main villain; Clu (Jeff Bridges, Crazy Heart); this trailer (which will most likely be the final trailer released before the film hits cinemas) gives a decent enough look at the back story of the two main characters; Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund, Troy), and his father Kevin (also played by Bridges); and the world of Tron as a whole, to keep fans interested until they get to see the film itself in a few weeks.
Olivia Wilde (House), Michael Sheen (Frost/Nixon), and James Frain (The Tudors, will also be appearing in Tron: Legacy alongside Bridges and Hedlund; either trying to help or hinder the pair’s life-or-death attempt to escape the stunning digital world they find themselves trapped in; when the movie is released (in both IMAX 3D, and RealD 3D, as well as standard 2D) on December 16th in the U.K., and December 17th in the U.S.
