Below you’ll find the official Red Band trailer for The Nice Guys; the upcoming buddy action/comedy from writer director Shane Black (the man who wrote Lethal Weapon – how was that not mentioned in the trailer?).
Coming from the Iron Man 3 director, described by him as “a caper. A little fast, a little funny and a little rough in places, kind of coarse…”, and produced by Joel Silver (producer of action greats such as Lethal Weapon, Die Hard, and The Matrix to name a few), The Nice Guys takes place in 1977 and sees a P.I. having to work with a hired enforcer (after said enforcer give him a beating) in order to track down a missing girl.
Ryan Gosling (Drive) is on hand to star as the P.I., while Russell Crowe (Gladiator) picks up the part of the enforcer, and Margaret Qualley (The Leftovers) stars as the missing Amelia, in the film which involves plenty of dead-pan humour, action, a dead porn-star and a good-old-fashioned conspiracy, and co-stars Kim Basinger (Batman), Keith David (Platoon), and Ty Sympkins (Jurassic World).
The Nice Guys is due to be released on May 20th in the US, before making its official UK release date on June 3rd.
