Coming loaded with many more curse words, sex scenes, and lewd jokes, than the original trailer, the red-band trailer for Ivan Reitman’s (Ghostbusters) romantic-comedy; No Strings Attached; has just been released online (and can be viewed below).
No Strings Attached stars Natalie Portman (Your Highness) and Ashton Kutcher (The Butterfly Effect) as two friends who agree to have a purely physical relationship (after Aston seeing his dad sleeping with his ex-girlfriend catapults him into Portman’s bed), provided that there are ground rules that prevent it from ever turning into a full blown relationship.
Needless to say, feelings begin to develop, and things start to go awry when jealousy creeps in, lust moves out, and love begins to flourish, but while it may all seem rather generic and predictable, it looks to contain a fair share of laughs, and should be more watchable than most rom-coms, as it’s been directed by a true comedy legend; Ivan Reitman.
Kevin Kline (A Fish Called Wanda) stars as Kutcher’s father, with Cary Elwes (Saw), Lake Bell (who starred alongside Kutcher in What Happens in Vegas), and Olivia Thirlby (Juno) rounding out the cast of the film, which is due to be released on January 21st in the U.S., and on February 25th in the U.K.
