After the release of the 4minute+ Comic-Con sizzle reel for writer/director Andrew Niccols’ (The Truman Show) upcoming sci-fi project In Time, Fox have now released a new, trimmed down, version; in the form of an official trailer; that can now be seen below.
In Time is set in a future where the aging gene has been turned off, and everyone is scheduled to die after being alive for only 25 years (unless they go to work, and get paid with a few more hours worth of life; in which they will stay looking only 25), and stars Justin Timberlake (The Road) as a ghetto kid named Will; who suddenly gets handed over a century to live by a wealthy benefactor, and finds himself on the run from the Timekeepers (Time Police), and the mountain of people looking to steal his time.
Co-starring Amanda Seyfried (Chloe), Olivia Wilde (Cowboys & Aliens), Cillian Murphy (Inception), and Alex Pettyfer (I Am Number Four), In Time (which was previously titled I’m.mortal) has an undeniably intriguing concept (living in a world where time has become the ultimate currency, and a cup of coffee will cost several minutes of your life), and is due to be released in the US on October 28th, before making its UK release date on November 1st.
