As the title so subtly suggests, Dreamworks’ upcoming animated movie The Penguins Of Madagascar is a Madagascar spin-off, following the penguins of the successful franchise, and the penguins’ first stand-alone movie has just had its second trailer released online (now available to view below).
Featuring the voices of Tom McGrath, Chris Miller, John DiMaggio, and Christopher Knights (as Skipper, Kowalski, Rico, and Private respectively), The Penguins Of Madagascar will see the flightless, flipper-wielding, fiends joining a super-secret animal organisation known as North Wind, in order to defeat the plans of an evil squid.
Peter Stormare (22 Jump Street) joins the cast as new penguin Corporal, and will also be joined by the voice talents of John Malkovich (Red 2), Benedict Cumberbatch (The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug), Ken Jeong (The Hangover: Part 3), and Werner Herzog (Jack Reacher), when The Penguins Of Madagascar is released on Novermber 26th in the US, before making its official UK release date on December 5th.
