Lionsgate has just released the official one-sheet and international trailer for action-horror Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, which is due for a February, 2016 release.
The film is an undead reimagining of Jane Austen’s classic novel. Written and directed by Burr Steers, and adapted from the novel by Seth Grahame-Smith, the movie follows the Bennett sisters as kickass heroines who have been trained to kill zombies. Austen’s classic tale of relationships between lovers from different social classes faces a new challenge – an outbreak of the undead. We’ve already seen a couple of trailers, and although this one features nothing we haven’t seen before, I can’t imagine how anybody couldn’t be excited for a movie like this.
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies stars Lily James (Cinderella), Lena Headey (Game of Thrones), Matt Smith (Doctor Who), Douglas Booth (Jupiter Ascending), Sam Riley (Control) and Charles Dance (The Imitation Game). It will be released in the US on February 5, 2016 before making its way to UK theatres on February 12.
