Paul Bettany (Legion) takes on an army of vampires in Priest; a futuristic movie in which a centuries-old war between people and vampires is violently re-kindled; and in order to celebrate the imminent release of the film on 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD, we not only have the official trailer available to view on the right, but also have a sneak peek at the release’s special features below.
The clip features a look at the way in which the Priest’s knife (one of the movies most iconic weapons) was created, and gives you a glimpse into a world run by a totalitarian church who refuse to believe Bettany when he tells them the vampires are back, and threaten to excommunicate him; leading him to track down his kidnapped niece, and take the war to the vampires, single-handedly.
Directed by Scott Charles Stewart (Legion) and co-starring Karl Urban (Star Trek), Maggie Q (Die Hard 4), Brad Dourif (Deadwood), and Stephen Moyer (True Blood), Priest is available to pre-order now, and will be released on 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD on September 5th.
