Is it a prequel, a spin-off, barely connected, or entirely separate to Alien? The newly released poster for Prometheus (the upcoming sci-fi movie from Alien director Ridley Scott), does little to answer that fateful question, but is now available to view below.
Prometheus will see a team of scientists; which will include Noomi Rapace (The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo), Michael Fassbender (X-Men: First Class) Charlize Theron (Monster), and Idris Elba (The Wire); setting off to investigate a distant world in the hopes of discovering the origins of all mankind, and getting much more than they bargained for; as the tagline suggests – “The Search for our beginning could lead to our end.”
Sean Harris (Harry Brown), Kate Dickie (Red Road), Logan Marshall-Green (Devil), and Patrick Wilson (Lakeview Terrace), also co-star in the film which has been scripted by Jon Spaihts (The Darkest Hour) and Damon Lindelof (Cowboys & Aliens), and is due to be released on June 1st in the UK, and on June 8th in the US.
