With recent announcements seeing Kate Beckinsale (Total Recall) join the ever expanding cast of Monty Python star Terry Jones’ latest movie, Absolutely Anything, it seems as if the cast just keeps on growing and growing, and has just added yet another well respected comedy named to its roster; none other than Rob Riggle.
Hangover and 21 Jump Street star Rob Riggle will join the film that places Simopn Pegg (Shaun of the Dead) as a disillusioned teacher who suddenly develops magical powers, and subsequently finds those powers were bestowed upon him by a group of aliens; voiced by Jones and his Python buddies John Cleese, Michael Palin, and Terry Gilliam; who have a rather mischievous plan for Pegg’s character.
With Robin Williams (Jumanji) also voicing Pegg’s dog, and Beckinsale playing his love interest, Absolutely Anything is to begin filming very shortly, ahead of an as yet unscheduled released date (predicted to be some time later this year).
