Adapted from Jon Ronson’s non-fiction book, The Psychopath Test is gearing up for a transition to the big screen and not only has Jay Roach (Meet The Parents) in place to direct, but has just secured Scarlett Johansson (soon to be reprising her role as Avengers’ woman Black Widow; last seen in Captain: America The Winter Soldier) to star in the film.
While it may be a fascinating subject to many, it’s still unclear as to exactly how Ronson’s book; detailing how the medical community attempts to both diagnose and classify psychopaths, and the industry which has been built around them; will be adapted into a big screen psychological thriller, though given how some of his other work has been adapted (including The Men Who Stare At Goats) there’s obviously potential.
