(Terry Note: No Chimichangas, None of my Money!)
With Marvel absent from this year’s San Diego Comic Con, the 2015 edition has pretty much been dominated by DC and their unveiling of their cinematic universe… That all changed this morning when Fox unveiled their first trailer for the much anticipated Deadpool movie.
Like the Suicide Squad trailer, it was only shown to those in attendance but camera recordings have been seen widely online. The trailer, which was shown twice due to its popularity, has been one of the key talking points of the convention so far with anticipation now at an all time high.
The trailer depicts Deadpool’s (played by a returning Ryan Reynolds) origins and introduces to several other characters in the film. Like many fans expected, Deadpool looks to make its mark by being a lot more humorous than other comic book films and also having much more graphic violence than its counterparts. The R-Rated trailer has gone down a treat at Comic Con and will no doubt have the same effect when it gets a public release in the coming months.
