Continuing the current trend of live-action fairy-tale updates, the upcoming Snow White and the Huntsman puts a new twist on the classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs tale, and sees the once stalwart and mousy lady donning a suit of armour, and tackling the Evil Queen head on; as seen in the newly released photo seen below.
Twi-hard fans will instantly recognise the film’s heroine as Kristen Stewart (Twilight‘s Bella), a woman who’s surprisingly set to play the girl who’s supposedly more beautiful than Charlize Theron’s (Monster) Evil Queen, and ends up working with the Huntsman sent to kill her (due to be portrayed by Thor‘s Chris Hemsworth) in order to bring down the maniacal monarch.
Being released in fairly direct competition with another upcoming, live-action, Snow White reboot (Mirror Mirror),Snow White and the Huntsman is due to be released on June 1st in both the US and UK.
