While UK viewers will have to wait for a still unspecified time in order to see the upcoming fourth season of Kurt Sutter’s (The Shield) extremely impressive drama series Sons of Anarchy, US viewers are on the cusp of seeing the Season 4 premiere on FX, and now have the chance to watch a sneak peek from the season’s first episode below.
The below is obviously from the beginning of the episode, and highlights the fact the season will pick up 14 months after the events of season three (as Jax, Clay, Tig, and the rest of the gang are being released from prison, to rejoin the rest of their outlaw motorcycle club SAMCRO), and shows where the majority of the main characters have ended up, what their families are up to, and more importantly to many female fans of the show, Charlie Hunnam’s new haircut.
What the clip doesn’t show however is that this series will introduce a range of new problems for the Sons; including Charming’s strict new Sheriff (Rockmund Dunbar, Prison Break), and a motorcycle-riding D.A.; and continue to introduce a range of guest stars that this time include the likes of Danny Trejo (Machete), David Hasselhoff (Knight Rider), and both Benito Martinez and David Rees Snell (a pair who previously worked with Sutter on The Shield).
Kenny Johnson (The Shield’s Lemonhead) will also be joining the ranks of SAMCRO as a regular cast member (as opposed to the guest role he’s previously been confined to), and will join Jax (Charlie Hunnam), Clay (Ron Perlman), Tig (Kim Coates), Opie (Ryan Hurst), Bobby (Mark Boone Junior), Juice (Theo Rossi), Chibs (Tommy Flanagan), and the rest of the Sons of Anarchy, when Season Four premieres, with a 90 minute episode, this coming Tuesday (September 6th), only on FX.
