Back by popular demand, the second big-screen outing for legendary news anchorman Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, will be returning to cinemas for one week only, from Friday February 28th, and you can catch an all new trailer for the re-release below.
Starring Will Ferrell as the legendary Ron Burgundy, Anchorman 2 sees the scotch-loving ladies-man, mans-man, and all-round funny-man, married to Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate, Hall Pass) and co-anchoring a prestigious news show in New York City with his beloved; but when famous news anchor Mack Tannen (Harrison Ford, Ender’s Game) announces his retirement, the possibility of promotion creates tension, and sees Ron heading back to his home town of San Diego, where he reassembles his former news show A-Team.
One one the mostly hotly anticipated comedies of 2013, and both a critical and Box Office success, Anchorman 2 saw Burgundy striding into the ‘80s, and joining the nation’s first 24-hour news network with returning co-stars Paul Rudd, Steve Carrell, and David Koechner, all appearing alongside James Marsden (X-Men), Greg Kinnear (As Good As It Gets), and Kristen Wiig (Bridesmaids), in another Adam McKay directed comedy hit.
The latest re-release of Anchorman 2 (fully titled Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues: Continued…) is a longer cut which features 763 new jokes (give or take, ish, approximately), and is in cinemas now, for one week only (beginning February 28th).
