Meet The Squad…
Now we’re only a couple of months away from the release of David Ayer’s (Fury) DC superhero/supervillain movie Suicide Squad, the kind people at Warner Bros. have given us a brand new promo (below) introducing us to the main players in the Squad itself (dressed up as a football team, in order to tie-in with the Euros), and we’ve also a collection of new posters available from GB Posters available to view below (click the thumbnails to view full-size).
For those unaware, Suicide Squad will find a bunch of DC Comics’ bad guys/supervillains recruited by Amanda Waller (Viola Davis, The Help) for an extremely dangerous mission to save the world (where Waller can of course deny the government’s involvement should things go pear-shaped). The villains in question being Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie, The Wolf Of Wall Street); Deadshot (Will Smith, Bad Boys); Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Oz); Enchantress (Cara Delevingne, Paper Towns); Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney, Terminator: Genisys); and Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman, RoboCop) to name a few.
Dallas Buyers Club‘s Jared Leto also stars as DC’s most infamous villain, The Joker, and will be joined in part by Ben Affleck’s Batman (returning from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice) when Suicide Squad is released on August 5th.
