After the success of their big screen return two years ago, Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo are back in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows; a Box Office hit which not only proved sequels can be better than their introductory outing, but one which is soon to receive a limited edition Steelbook release – limited to a mere 2,500 copies (as pictured below).
As well as the titular Turtles, and returning reporter April O’Neil (Megan Fox), Out of the Shadows introduces us to a new ally in the hockey-masked vigilante Casey Jones (Arrow‘s Stephen Amell), and two of the Turtles’ most infamous and recognisable villains, Bebop and Rocksteady; a mutant warthog and rhino (played by Malcolm in the Middle star Gary Anthony Williams, and wrestler Sheamus) respectively; as well as the notorious Krang.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows comes to Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D, 4K Ultra HD, DVD and On Demand on 24th October, 2016 from Paramount Home Media Distribution and Universal Pictures (UK). The heroes in a half-shell also will be available in two-film Blu-ray and DVD box-sets, and debuts two weeks early on Digital on 10th October, with a wealth of special features included on the DVD and Blu-ray release which include deleted scenes, featurettes, and more, and an additional 40 minutes worth of bonus materials on the Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D, and 4K Ultra HD releases; allowing fans to explore the film’s special effects, take a look inside the Turtles’ tricked-out van, go behind-the-scenes to explore the Turtleverse and more.
