The Boy Next Door is the latest example of a cinematic love-affair gone awry; where one person decides to end the relationship, and the other decides they’re having none of it, because they’re meant to be together; as seen in the newly released trailer below.
Jennifer Lopez (Money Train) headlines as a teacher who’s left by her cheating husband, and quickly begins a relationship with The Boy Next Door (hence the title); a hunky young man named Noah (Ryan Guzman, Step Up All In), before deciding she’s had enough (partially because he’s the same age as her son), and finding he quickly turns into an obsessive stalker (hacking her internet access, following her, and even integrating himself within her family circle), in the Rob Cohen (Fast & Furious) directed movie which is due to be released on January 23rd in the US, but won’t make its official UK release date until March 13th 2015.
