We’ve had all the rumours, casting announcements, a poster, and even a teaser trailer, but now the official, full-length, trailer for the Hangover Part II; the sequel to the 2009 comedy smash hit (about the best/worst bachelor party ever; depending on how you look at it); has been released, and is available to view below.
Reuniting Bradley Cooper (Limitless), Ed Helms (Cedar Rapids), Zach Galifianakis (Due Date), and Justin Bartha (The Rebound), as well as bringing back a number of supporting actors, and including Ken Jeong (who play the hilarious Asian gangster Mr. Chow in the first movie) in a big way, the new trailer promises more of what we saw in the first film, only cranked up to 11.
Landing in Thailand for Stu’s (Ed Helm’s) wedding, the lads end up having another bachelor party they’ll never remember, waking up in a strange place, in a strange country, with even more anarchy than before; Stu hasn’t lost a tooth this time, he’s gained a Mike Tyson style face tattoo, Alan (Galifianakis) rolls out of bed to find he’s lost his killer perm, there’s no tiger in the bathroom but there is a monkey in a waistcoat, and once again they’ve lost one of the lads (this time it’s Stu’s soon-to-be-brother-in-law).
Remembering how things went last time, the guys first thought is to check the roof for Teddy (the one they’ve lost) to no avail, and soon begin hunting for clues around Bangkok; once again starting with what’s in their pockets; and going on a crazy search that involves guns, car chases, monks, and speedboats, and proves that “when a monkey nibbles on a weenus, it’s funny in any language.”
The Hangover Part II will be released on May 26th (Memorial Day) in the U.S., before hitting its U.K. release date on May 27th.
