Based on the novels by Susanne Collins, The Hunger Games tells the tale of a post-apocalyptic world in which an annual event sees 24 teenagers competing in a fight to the death, and has just had its second trailer released online (now available to view below).
Starring Jennifer Lawrence (X-Men: First Class) as Katniss Everdeen; a teen who spends her time hunting with friend Gale (Liam Hemsworth, Knowing), in order to supplement the rations her family is given, and volunteers to participate in the games to save her sister from having to enter; The Hunger Games co-stars Elizabeth Banks (The Next Three Days), Stanley Tucci (Burlesque), Woody Harrelson (Zombieland), Toby Jones (Captain America), Lenny Kravitz (who’s best known for his musical talent), Wes Bentley (American Beauty), and Donald Sutherland (The Mechanic), and is due to be released on March 23rd in both the US and UK.
