Predator:

Format: Blu-ray.

Stars: Arnold Schwarzenegger (The Terminator), Carl Weathers (Rocky), Bill Duke (Commando), Jesse Ventura (The Running Man)

An elite group of commandos enter a Central American jungle, on orders from the C.I.A, to clear a guerilla stronghold, but end up stranded, alone, and hunted by an otherworldly, chameleon-like, creature with some serious firepower, and the brains to match.

It may have already received one blu-ray release, but is going down the road of numerous Schwarzengger releases, and receiving another; dubbed the ‘Fully Loaded’, ‘Ultimate Hunter’, or simply ‘Special’, edition depending on where you order from; but promises to be the Blu-ray to end all Predator Releases.

Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief:

Format: Blu-ray (Triple Play Edition)/DVD

Stars: Logan Lerman (Gamer), Sean Bean (Sharpe), Pierce Brosnan (Goldeneye), Steve Coogan (Night at the Museum)

A misfit kid gets up close and personal with his Greek Mythology; after learning that he is not only the son of Poseidon, but the prime suspect in the case of Zeus’ stolen lightning bolt, Percy is hunted by the Gods themselves, and must learn to use his powers in order to save his family, catch the true thief, and clear his name.

Stars: Matt Damon (The Bourne Identity)

Set during the early days of the 2003 Iraq War, Roy Miller and his team of Army Inspectors must search for Saddam’s hidden weapons of mass destruction, but are led by faulty intelligence provided by operatives with conflicting agendas, and risk escalating the war, in an already unstable region, in their efforts to topple a regime, and find the truth.

The Bounty Hunter

Stars: Gerard Butler (Law Abiding Citizen), Jennifer Aniston (Marley and Me)

A down-on-his-luck bounty hunter, named Milo Boyd, gets his dream job, when he is assigned to track down and arrest his ex-wife Nicole; a woman who is always trying to on-up her ex-partner, and might just be on the verge of uncovering a conspiracy that will have both her and Milo desperately running for their lives.

The Karate Kid (1984), and The Karate Kid Part II

After the plucky New York raised Daniel moves to Los Angeles and starts to get bullied by a gang of karate students with a ruthless teacher, he asks his handyman (who happens to be a martial arts expert) to teach him karate; so that he can compete in the upcoming championships, give the bullies what for, and impress his new girl (who also happens to be the ex-girlfriend of the head-bully).

Clash of the Titans (2010)

Format: Blu-ray/DVD

Stars: Sam Worthington (Avatar), Liam Neeson (The A-Team), Ralph Fiennes (Red Dragon), Gemma Arterton (Prince of Persia)

Remade from the 1981 classic, Clash of the Titans sees the mortal, half-god, Perseus (who was the result of one of Zeus’ many affairs) undertaking a series of perilously dangerous quests (including fighting a giant scorpion, a half-snake lade named Medusa, and the giant sea-dwelling Kraken) in order to stop Hades spreading evil all over the Earth, and even conquering the heavens.

Breaking Bad: The Complete Second Season

Format: DVD

Classification: 15

Stars: Bryan Cranston (Malcolm in the Middle), Aaron Paul (Big Love), Anna Gunn (Deadwood), Dean Norris (Little Miss Sunshine)

Bryan Cranston returns, in his Emmy Award winning role, as Walter H. White; the cancer stricken chemistry teacher who enlists his drug-dealing ex-student Jesse to help him sell the enormous quantities of crystal meth that he plans on cooking, in order to leave behind some money for his family (who obviously know nothing of his plan); who delves deeper than ever before into the drug trade, suffers more from his illness, and expects his daughter to be born at any moment.
