The Power of Few; the upcoming indie movie from writer/director Leone Marucci (Reaction); is an action/mystery movie with an impressive cast, that takes place over a mere 20 minute timespan (explored from the viewpoints of five different characters), and is a film that’s rewarding fan involvement in a unique, and inspiring way.
Revolving around the efforts of an enigmatic smuggling ring’s attempts to steal a priceless artifact, The Power of Few boasts a cast which includes Christopher Walken (Catch Me If You Can), Christian Slater (True Romance), Jesse Bradford (Flags of Our Fathers), and Q’orianka Kilcher (The New World), and is currently offering fans the chance to not only view footage shot on location in New Orleans ahead of release, but also possibly get their name in the film’s credits.
Fans have been invited to not only download and read a portion of the film’s script, but edit a specific scene for the movie (known as Scene 64), that could end up being in the film’s final release. Editing take’s place via an app on the movie’s website, that gives fans access to not only a number of audio tracks, but every take, and every angle, of video footage shot for the scene, and after editing and submitting their own version of the scene, fans will begin voting on the best edits, before a competition winner is finally chosen, and will eventually not only see their name in the movie’s credits, but also their edited scene in the final film.
For more information, and to begin editing, head over to http://www.thepoweroffew.com/ but don’t leave it too long; as there’s now less than two months before voting closes on July 21st.
