Given the success of Thor: the Dark World, the Asgardian’s inclusion in the upcoming second Avengers movie, and the growing profile and Box Office appeal of Chris Hemsworth, we knew it was only a matter of time before the third Thor film started gaining some ground, and now it has; as two writers have just been hired for Thor 3.
Christopher Yost (who worked on The Dark World) will once again be penning Thor’s next solo outing, but this time paired with Marvel executive Craig Kyle; a man who producer, and Marvel President, Kevin Feige says “helped shape Thor and Thor: The Dark World at every level of the filmmaking process”, meaning “the entire team at Marvel is very happy to continue collaborating with Craig as he continues as a screenwriter working with Christopher on the forthcoming chapter of Thor’s adventure.”
So far no release date, plot details, or further casting details, have been announced, though we do know that we will next see Chris Hemsworth’s Thor on screen in The Avengers: Age Of Ultron; which is due to be released in both the US and UK on May 1st 2015.
