With Mad Max: Fury Road soon to hit Blu-ray and DVD, Legend soon to hit the big screen, The Revenant due out next year, and plenty of other projects lined up Tom Hardy is an increasingly busy man, and one who’s just added another film to his roster; the upcoming adaptation of Vertigo’s 100 Bullets.
The award-winning comic-book crime saga (from Brian Azzarello and Eduardo Risso) ran for around 100 issues, and followed a mysterious man who’d turn up out of the blue with a briefcase containing a gun and 100 untraceable bullets, before offering to use said untraceable bullets to offer people a chance of retribution and revenge for various personal slights they’d suffered.
Chris Borrelli (Vatican Tapes) will script the film, which at the moment is being kept fairly under wraps (but will apparently attempt to stay as close to the comic book source material as possible), though no director has been announced as yet.
