Adapted from the J.G. Ballard novel of the same name, and brought to the screen by director ben Wheatley (Kill List, Sightseers), High-Rise tells the tale of a London apartment building (set in 1975) which saw a total breakdown of class and social niceties, as its residents succumbed to their more primitive urges, and turned the building into a horrifying den of iniquity, and you can now see the first official image from the film below.
Starring Tom Hiddleston (best known as Loki; last seen in Thor: The Dark World) as anti-hero Robert Laing, alongside a cast which includes the likes of Luke Evans (The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies), Jeremy Irons (The Borgias), Sienna Miller (American Sniper), and James Purefoy (Ironclad) High-Rise is due to be released on an as yet unspecified date sometime later this year.
