Trailer For Dwayne Johnson’s HBO Show Ballers

Still flying high on the reactions from his latest movie (the record-breaking Furious 7) Dwayne Johnson took to Twitter this weekend to release the brand new trailer for his upcoming HBO TV show Ballers (now available to view below).

Ballers stars Johnson (otherwise known as The Rock) as a retired professional football player (that’d be American Football), and focusses on the lives of a number of former pros after they leave the game (or at least the field). Co-starring Omar Benson Miller (Homefront), Rob Corddry (currently in multiplexes with Hot Tub Time Machine 2), and John David Washington (a real-life pro-football player better known as the son of legendary actor Denzel Washington), Ballers is a new half-hour TV show which sees Johnson serving as an executive producer alongside Mark Wahlberg (continuing a successful run of HBO produced shows, including Entourage), and will premiere on June 21st, at 10pm; straight after the True Detective Season 2 premiere.
