Gone are the days of Jason Statham (The Expendables 3) headlining the fast-paced action franchise which was The Transporter as the sullen, all-business, Frank Martin. Now headed for the reboot treatment, the fourth film in the franchise has a new star (Ed Skrein, Ill Manors), and you can now see the first official trailer for The Transporter Refueled below.
While fans of the original trilogy will undoubtedly miss The Stath, the formula for the reboot seems to be sticking fairly closely to that of the first three films; with plenty of fast cars, car chases, fight scenes, good-looking women, and a moody man in a suit doling out all sorts of hurt to anyone who gets in the way of him making his delivery.
Co-starring Ray Stevenson (Thor: The Dark World), and also known as The Transporter Legacy, the Camille Delamare (Brick Mansions) directed movie is due to be released on June 19th in both the US and UK.
