While often lamented by the majority of critics, and a large portion of the usual filmgoing public, there’s no denying that The Twilight Saga has become a genuinely massive movie franchise; since it successfully wooed teenage girls in their millions, and turned its star Robert Pattinson (Water For Elephants) into an instant sex symbol; and now, the latest film in the series has just had its first poster released online (which can be seen below).
While the one-sheet doesn’t actually show a thing about the film (unless the entire plot has been changed to revolve around a pretty sunrise), most fans already know that the next movie; Breaking Dawn Part 1 (since the last book in the series has been split into two movies); follows the human girl Bella (Kristen Stewart, Panic Room) as she begins enjoying her honeymoon with her vampire husband Edward (Pattinson), promptly gets knocked-up, and has to deal with a host of new threats as a result; including the possibility of birthing a half-vampire killing her, and both the local werewolves, and the vampire bosses, being none too happy about the idea.
As well as Stewart and Pattinson, Breaking Dawn stars Taylor Lautner (Valentine’s Day), Michael Sheen (Tron: Legacy), Dakota Fanning (Man on Fire), Ashley Greene (King of California), Maggie Grace (Taken), and Billy Burke (Fracture), has been directed by Bill Condon (Dreamgirls), and is due to be released on November 8th in both the US and UK, with part two following in November 2012.
