We’ve had a sneak peek at locations, a first image of the happy couple kissing, and most recently a teaser poster, but now Twilight fans can witness the moment they’ve been so patiently waiting for, as Breaking Dawn Part 1 has just had its first teaser trailer released online (now available to view below).
Breaking Dawn Part 1 (which is to be the first part of a two-part film) forms the beginning of the final chapter in the Twilight Saga, where Bella (Kristen Stewart, Panic Room) and her vampire boyfriend Edward (Robert Pattinson, Water for Elephants) finally tie the knot, much to the dismay of her father, friends, and the local werewolf community.
Making its debut online hours before the official unveiling at tonight’s MTV Movie Awards, the trailer shows just how upset Jacob (Taylor Lautner, Valentine’s Day) is at the thought of Bella and Edward getting married, the actual wedding, and provides a teaser ending so compelling that even people who don’t appreciate the Twilight series should be intrigued; as Bella becomes pregnant with a vampire baby (a baby that forms the focus of the films, could kill her, and upset not only the local werewolves, but the vampire bosses).
Michael Sheen (Tron: Legacy), Dakota Fanning (Man on Fire), Ashley Greene (King of California), Maggie Grace (Faster), and Billy Burke (Fracture) also star in the Bill Condon (Dreamgirls) directed movie that’s due to be released on November the 8th in both the US and UK, before Part 2 is released the following November.
