Taking place 12 years after the events of Underworld: Evolution, Underworld: Awakening (the upcoming fourth film in the vampires Vs. werewolves franchise) once again places Kate Beckinsale in a catsuit (as the ass-kicking vampire heroine Selene), and has just had its latest trailer released online (now available to view below).
Awakening sees Selene escaping from captivity only to find that humans now realize vampires and Lycans exist; and have decided to try and exterminate both species; leading her and her vampire-Lycan-hybrid daughter Eve (India Eisley, The Secret Life of the American Teenager) right in the middle of a giant three-way battle, just when a giant super-Lycan gets loose.
Co-starring Charles Dance (Last Action Hero), Michael Ealy (Takers), Scott Speedman (Underworld), and Stephen Rea (V for Vendetta), Underworld: Awakening will be released on January 20th, in both the US and UK.
