Continuing yet another vampires vs. werewolves franchise, the fourth film in the Underworld franchise; Underworld: Awakening; has recently had its first trailer released online (which is now available to view below), and unsurprisingly features a fair bit of action, and a PVC-clad heroine.
Kate Beckinsale (Whiteout) returns as the vampiress Selene in the new movie that sees her character escaping from captivity (after being held captive for 12 years), only to find that the world she knew has disappeared; humans have discovered the existence of both vampires and werewolves, and have launched a campaign to wipe out both species, which has led to the creation of super Lycans, and will see the catsuit-wearing heroine dealing out her fair share of death once again, as she searches for the daughter she never kneew she had (a vampire/Lycan hybrid).
Co-starring Michael Ealy (Takers), Charles Dance (Game of Thrones), Stephen Rea (V for Vendetta), India Eisley (Headspace), and Kris Holden-Ried (The Tudors), Underworld: Awakening is due to make its 3D debut in both the US and the UK on January 20th next year.
