Coming from the amazingly talented writer/director John Michael McDonagh (the man behind both The Guard, and Calvary, and brother to In Bruges‘ writer/director Martin McDonagh), comes the hilarious official UK trailer for War On Everyone.
Looking somewhat like a Shane Black comedy (which should appeal to anyone who saw The Nice Guys), War On Everyone stars Alexander Skarsgård (True Blood) and Michael Peña (Ant-Man) as two unbelievably crooked cops who have a great time taking drugs and blackmailing just about every criminal they come into contact with, until one of said criminals gets the bright idea to blackmail them right back.
Co-starring Tessa Thompson (Creed), Theo James (Divergent), Paul Reiser (Whiplash), and Caleb Landry Jones (Contraband), War On Everyone is due to be released on September 30th in the UK and Ireland, and will also screen as part of the Empire Live weekend (September 23-25) at the O2 in London.
