Adapted from the classic Micael Morpurgo novel of the same name, and coming from director Steven Spielberg (E.T.), War Horse follows the turbulent journey of a single horse through World War I; as he ends up serving in both he British and German armies, before reaching an emotional climax in the heart of No Man’s Land (part of which can be seen below; in the film’s official trailer).
Jeremy Irvine (Life Bites) leads the cast as Albert (Joey the horse’s owner), alongside Tom Hiddleston (Thor), Emily Watson (Red Dragon), David Thewlis (Dragonheart), and Toby Kebbell (Prince of Persia), and can be seen when War Horse is released on Christmas Day in the US, before making its UK release date on January 13th.
