Rejoice, Wes Anderson fans, for today, Jeff Goldblum revealed that he is among a group of voice actors who will lend their talents for Anderson’s new film, a stop-motion animated film about dogs.
Speaking to Nerdist, Goldblum said that Edward Norton, Bryan Cranston, Bob Balaban and himself are all providing voices for a “Japanese-inspired” film. The project does not have a title as of yet, and details are incredibly scarce. But Indiewire are reporting that this will definitely be Wes Anderson’s next release, and pre-production is already under way.
Last year, Anderson said he wanted to make an “episodic movie” based on Vittorio De Sica’s The Gold of Naples, although this is unrelated to the animated project.
Anderson found massive success last year with The Grand Budapest Hotel, which grossed $174 million at the box office and was nominated for nine Academy Awards, winning four of them.
