Since her scene-stealing turn in Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf Of Wall Street earlier this year, Margot Robbie’s career has taken a huge upswing; having already filmed both Z For Zachariah and Focus, and currently filming the new Tarzan movie (in which she plays Jane); and she’s now in talks to appear in yet another hot property; Ghost In The Shell.
25 years on from the release of the original anime movie, DreamWorks are currently developing a live action movie (scripted by William Wheeler) which could see Robbie kickstart a career as a future action star; placing her as a cyborg law enforcer (based on the Motoko Kusanagi character) who’s part of a covert-ops team investigating various technology-related crimes; when it’s eventually released on an as yet unannounced date.
